On my last visit to Colonial Beach, Virginia I found a small, approximately 1 inch long, claw/beak like fossil.

Having not seen anything like that before I was curious as to what it might be.

The picture quality is not very good but you can clearly see it is not a tooth.

If anyone has any ideas on what it could possibly be or found something similar - it would be great to know!
